Geography

The County is located east of the geographic center of Texas and has an area of ​​2004 square kilometers, of which 12 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Limestone County, Robertson County, Milam County, Bell County and McLennan County.

History

Falls County was formed in 1850 from parts of Limestone County and Milam County. It was named after the waterfalls on the Brazos River.
